Special Education Teacher - Scottsdale, Arizona

In this role, you’ll manage a target caseload of 20 IEPs, developing individualized plans and monitoring student progress to ensure positive outcomes. You’ll play a vital part in fostering a nurturing atmosphere where every student has the support and resources they need to thrive.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with a diverse student population and varying exceptionalities
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
• Ability to build trust and rapport with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet students’ unique needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs for each student on caseload
• Provide direct instruction and support using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and meet compliance timelines
• Engage with families to communicate student progress and address concerns
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
