This full-time role, based near Seattle, WA, extends from August 3, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of 25 exceptional learners.

What we're looking for:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience delivering individualized instruction to high school students
• Strong understanding of IEP process and implementation
• Effective communication skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Positive, solution-focused attitude and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff
• Differentiate instruction to ensure academic progress in a classroom of varied abilities
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Track and document student progress, providing feedback and updates to families
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support student engagement and growth
