Special Ed Teacher | Sedona, Arizona

A K-12 school in Sedona, AZ is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs throughout the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on individualized student growth and inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities and learning challenges.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal and state special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students with diverse special needs.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet varying learning styles and abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
