Key Qualifications:
- Valid educator certification in Special Education (must provide documentation)
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with early childhood or Pre-K populations
- Proficient in strategies for working with children on the autism spectrum
- Capable and comfortable with required toileting assistance for young students
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to coordinate with families and school staff
- Ability to commit to on-site work through May 26, 2027
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of six Pre-K students in a self-contained setting
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and therapists to ensure holistic student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student development, interventions, and achievements
- Support positive classroom routines and foster a nurturing, structured learning environment
- Facilitate and assist with toileting and personal care as part of daily routines
In this role, you’ll help shape the educational journey of young learners at a pivotal stage. The on-site schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:45am – 3:15pm, providing steady hours and the opportunity to work closely with an engaged team.
