Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Missouri Special Education Teacher credential
• Proven ability to manage K-12 caseloads in either self-contained or resource environments
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to carry out all general responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher, including instruction, assessment, and documentation
• Demonstrate a growth mindset, commitment to collaboration, and a positive, solution-oriented outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, revise, and implement Individualized Education Programs for students across diverse needs and grade levels
• Deliver targeted instruction in accordance with student IEPs, adapting teaching strategies to foster student success
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide behavioral and academic support tailored to individual student goals
