Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Elementary Special Education and Behavioral Endorsements highly preferred
• Experience working with students with autism, early childhood needs, and intellectual disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Professional Responsibilities:

• Support two elementary Autism programs and one high school Intellectual Disability program, as well as an EC position across three available roles
• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs and abilities
• Use proactive strategies and behavior management techniques to promote student growth and engagement
• Provide curriculum modifications, differentiated instruction, and ongoing assessment
• Communicate regularly and effectively with families, related service providers, and administration
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards within special education
