This contract opportunity seeks dedicated special education professionals to take on one of two impactful roles, each offering unique caseloads and the chance to champion student growth.

Position 1: Full-Time High School Resource Classroom (37.5 hours/week)

  • Manage a caseload of high school students, supporting them in college prep math and pre-algebra.
  • Deliver engaging, individualized lessons in a resource classroom, providing tailored instruction.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to develop strategies that support academic achievement in math.

Position 2: Part-Time ALC Building (20 hours/week)

  • Work on-site daily, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times to fit your schedule.
  • Serve approximately 10-12 students, providing direct services during scheduled hours.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment, adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active special education license in any area is required.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly in secondary education, preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to develop rapport with students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Track student progress and adjust instruction effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and staff.
  • Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
