Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License required
• Demonstrated experience in special education classrooms, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction within a classroom of 8 students as part of the LIFT program
• Create and adapt lesson plans to accommodate varied learning styles and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social development
