Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must hold an active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting preferred
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and collaborative team support
• Ability to create and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in an elementary school classroom for students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, review, and implement effective IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to maximize student engagement and progress
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff to support students’ academic and social growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports
• Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices
