Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License
• Background in elementary education and knowledge of diverse learning needs
• Previous experience working within a special education setting is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
• Commitment to creating personalized learning plans and adapting instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Monitor progress, adjust teaching methods, and provide appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Collaborate with classroom staff and related service providers as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain up-to-date records, assess student growth, and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a compassionate, structured, and positive classroom environment
