Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Demonstrated flexibility, patience, and commitment to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize instructional strategies and resources for students in the IRR classroom
• Assess individual abilities and collaborate on IEP development and updates
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom culture
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to staff and caregivers
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and related service providers
• Attend team meetings, participate in ongoing professional development, and stay current with best practices in special education
