Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with all necessary endorsements
  • Demonstrated expertise in IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
  • Skilled in both inclusion and pull-out service models
  • Effective at collaborating with general education teachers and families to support diverse learners
  • Professional experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both inclusive and pull-out classroom settings
  • Partner with general education staff, support personnel, and families to ensure each student’s success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication for compliance and program effectiveness
  • Participate in professional meetings and ongoing staff development throughout the school year
