Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification in Louisiana)
  • Previous experience in a school-based special education role
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and differentiation
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Deliver adaptive instruction to students with a variety of learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Track student progress and adjust instruction to ensure success
