Key Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience serving as an Intervention Specialist, particularly in MD or similar settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to students in the MD classroom
• Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate closely with general educators, specialists, and families to support student growth
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
• Participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary team evaluations
