Special Education Teacher - Silver Spring, Maryland

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (State of Maryland or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

• Strong skills in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and adapting curriculum

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive educational approach

• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development opportunities
