Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina teaching license
• Certification in Learning Disabilities or Multi-Categorical required
• Proven experience supporting middle school students in a special education setting
• Background in working with students with dyslexia, including intervention strategies and tailored accommodations
• Comfortable with push-in inclusion support and case management responsibilities
• Willingness to participate in a second in-person interview as part of the hiring process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to students on your caseload in accordance with IEPs
• Provide targeted support to learners with dyslexia and additional learning needs in an inclusive classroom environment
• Act as a case manager, ensuring IEP compliance, documentation, and collaboration with families and staff
• Work directly with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and implement accommodations
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students
• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor progress and make instructional decisions
