Key Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Special Education Teacher credentials required
- Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Past success working in either resource room or self-contained settings

- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals
- Implement effective classroom management strategies in self-contained or resource settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in the development, review, and revision of IEPs and facilitate IEP meetings
- Create a positive, supportive classroom climate that reflects the school’s core values
- Engage in professional learning communities to enhance teaching strategies
