Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current valid Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or closely related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, educators, and support staff
• Experience in classroom management and adapting curriculum to meet diverse needs
• Familiarity with federal and state regulations for special education
• Ability to foster inclusive, supportive learning spaces

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with varying disabilities
• Develop, update, and track progress on IEPs while maintaining accurate records
• Adapt and modify lesson plans to accommodate individual learning styles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Utilize data and assessments to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Communicate regularly with families to support student growth and address concerns
