Mild to Moderate Special Education Teacher

Severe to Profound Special Education Teacher
4th–5th Grade
Full-time
Caseload of approximately 8 students
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet each student's unique needs.
Provide specialized instruction in academic, behavioral, social, and functional skill areas.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.
Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence.
Qualifications:
Active Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
Mild/Moderate or Severe/Profound certification appropriate for the position.
Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
