Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid EMD license (required)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting is highly valued
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse and unique learning needs
• Collaborative spirit to work effectively with general education staff, classroom assistants, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student abilities
• Oversee instructional activities in classroom settings, partnering with assistants
• Assess student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere and ensure a safe learning environment
• Collaborate with parents, support staff, and external professionals to provide holistic support
