Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education certification
- Experience teaching elementary-aged students (grades K-5) preferred

- Collaborative approach with paraprofessionals and other support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective, differentiated instruction aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) for students in self-contained settings
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
- Implement and track behavior intervention plans, utilizing evidence-based strategies
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals within the classroom to provide consistent support
- Establish and maintain professional communication with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt teaching techniques and materials to accommodate diverse learning needs and behavioral profiles
