This full-time, onsite contract position offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated educational team in a nurturing school environment. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts teaching license/certification for Moderate or Severe Disabilities is required
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school-based setting
  • Previous caseload management with students with developmental delays or intellectual impairments highly desired
  • Up-to-date CORI search and fingerprinting; letter of suitability from a previous employer may satisfy fingerprint requirements
  • Comfortable collaborating with staff and families to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to start promptly and remain committed through June 25, 2026

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to small groups and individual students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions and supports as needed
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and parent-teacher conferences
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom climate
  • Collaborate with related service providers, instructional assistants, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
