Special Education Teacher (RSP) – Elementary

Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher to join our elementary team for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This is a full-time position dedicated to supporting students with mild-to-moderate disabilities within a collaborative school environment.
As an RSP Teacher, you will be responsible for providing pull-out or push-in services, ensuring that students on your caseload receive the necessary support to succeed in the general education curriculum. We are looking for a professional who is ready to manage a full elementary caseload and hit the ground running this August.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Support: Deliver specialized academic instruction (SAI) to students with mild-to-moderate disabilities.
Caseload Management: Oversee IEPs for a full elementary caseload, including initial assessments, triennial reviews, and annual meetings.
Collaboration: Partner with general education teachers to implement accommodations and modifications that ensure student access to the core curriculum.
Assessment & Data: Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with California state and federal regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: MUST hold an active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Mild/Moderate.
Experience: Previous experience in an RSP or elementary school setting is preferred.
Compliance Standards: Knowledge of California Special Education laws and the IEP process.
Clearance: Valid DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance and TB test.

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
