Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (active or eligible for MS)
• Proven experience working with students with exceptionalities in a classroom setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiation
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and administration
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Organizational and time management skills to balance paperwork and instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging and tailored instruction to students with a range of disabilities
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers to ensure inclusive practices
• Conduct regular assessments and adjust lessons to drive student progress
• Maintain accurate records, document services, and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a positive classroom climate that encourages student independence and growth
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support
