Assignment Type: School-Based Contract Position
Assignment Dates:
• 2026–2027 School Year

Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 35+ Hours Per Week
Caseload Details:
• Elementary cross-categorical classroom
• Small caseload setting
• Additional classroom support available
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement IEP-driven instruction and accommodations
• Support student growth academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary staff
• Maintain documentation and progress monitoring requirements
• Create a safe and structured classroom environment
Requirements:
• Active Michigan SPED Certification required
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students preferred
• AAC familiarity is a plus
Additional Details:
• Strong district support structure
• Team-oriented special education department
