Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in elementary or secondary classrooms.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Differentiate instruction to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Washington Special Education teaching certification or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in elementary and/or secondary special education settings.
• Experience working with students across a variety of disability categories.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.71 to $53.71. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
