Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Educator Certification for Special Education (must present current license)
- Prior experience teaching or supporting Pre-K students, particularly those on the autism spectrum
- Comfort with and willingness to assist with toileting and personal care
- Strong communication skills and an inclusive, positive teaching approach
- Flexible, collaborative mindset; enthusiastic about working on-site
- Previous travel assignments in schools (preferred but not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that support both academic and developmental growth for Pre-K students with individualized needs
- Provide toileting and personal care support as required
- Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, aides, and families to foster student progress
- Apply best practices for special education, with a focus on autism spectrum disorders
- Consistently monitor, document, and communicate student progress
