Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (active and in good standing)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience working with students with a variety of learning needs and disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with parents, staff, and students
• Flexibility, creativity, and a positive approach to meeting each child’s unique goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with school and state standards
• Adapt lessons and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Utilize evidence-based teaching methods to encourage academic, social, and emotional growth
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and regular communication with families
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
