Special Education Teacher - Spartanburg, SC

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support in a self-contained learning disabilities classroom.
• Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence.
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education staff to ensure student success.
• Communicate progress with families and participate in IEP meetings as required.
• Document student growth and respond proactively to student needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold (or be pending) Special Education Teacher certification in South Carolina.
• Previous experience supporting middle school learners with learning disabilities is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance.
• Skilled in classroom management and differentiated instruction.
• Dedicated to supporting social-emotional and academic growth for diverse learners.
• Ability to work onsite during standard school hours.
