Special Education Teacher – Severe & Profound Disabilities

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is looking for a compassionate Severe & Profound SPED Teacher to support students requiring high levels of support in a structured classroom. The role includes planning functional academic and life skills lessons, supporting communication, and building positive behavior supports.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction focused on communication, social, and adaptive life skills

• Use behavior intervention strategies and functional assessments

• Collaborate with therapy staff and paraeducators

• Maintain student documentation, IEP goals, and progress tracking

• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma SPED Certification

• Prior experience with severe/profound disability populations highly preferred

• Excellent organizational and team-oriented skills

Compensation & Benefits:
? $38–$45/hour
