Special Education Teacher - Sperry, Oklahoma

Two full-time positions are available: one focused on serving students with mild to moderate needs, the other dedicated to those requiring severe to profound support. In these roles, you will:

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and goals
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to suit varying abilities and learning styles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure optimal support for each student
• Foster a safe, encouraging classroom atmosphere where every student can thrive
• Employ positive behavior interventions and ongoing progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate records and provide valuable input during IEP meetings
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices and certification requirements

Desired qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education for the corresponding area (Mild/Moderate or Severe/Profound)
• Previous experience working within a school setting preferred

Pay is competitive, with an hourly rate ranging from $35 to $41, determined by experience and education.
