Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential/certification (state-specific or able to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience in a classroom or resource setting strongly desired
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Dedication to differentiated instruction and student-centered planning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff

Your Role Will Include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) catered to student needs
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and therapists to ensure inclusive instruction
• Providing direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications to support diverse learners
• Tracking student progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to IEP meetings
• Fostering a safe, encouraging, and effective learning environment
• Engaging in ongoing communication with families about student growth and resources
