With two openings available, you’ll join a team dedicated to nurturing the potential of each child.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid 461 TN Special Education teaching license (required)
  • Prior experience working with primary students in a self-contained or special education setting preferred
  • Strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and support personnel
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching diverse learners
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to K-2 students in a self-contained classroom
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to meet each student’s needs and IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress, adapting strategies and interventions as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and conferences as required
  • Communicate regularly with families to support student growth and celebrate achievements
