Special Education Teacher | Spring Hill, Tennessee

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for educators passionate about supporting students in K-2nd grade within a self-contained classroom environment. With two positions available, you'll have the chance to collaborate with like-minded professionals and positively impact early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid 461 TN Special Education license (required)
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-2nd grade students
• Understanding of a variety of learning differences and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Commitment to following state and district policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to K-2 students in a self-contained classroom setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for each student
• Foster a positive, supportive, and safe learning atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with other staff, parents, and support personnel
• Utilize a range of teaching tools and strategies to address diverse learning needs
• Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in meetings as required
