Multiple teaching positions are available:

• Early Childhood Self-Contained
• Elementary Resource Room (Self-Contained)
• Elementary Resource Room (Push-in/Pull-out)
• Secondary (Grades 6-12) Resource Room (Push-in/Pull-out)

Key Qualifications:

• State certification/licensure as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility)
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with diverse needs at various developmental levels
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned to IEP goals for assigned caseload
• Assess student strengths and areas for growth, using this data to tailor lesson plans
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, service providers, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development opportunities
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
