Your week will follow a Monday through Thursday schedule, with workdays from 7:30am to 4:30pm—leaving you time to create meaningful connections and practice work-life balance. As a Special Education Resource Teacher, you’ll be an advocate for student success, providing essential resources and collaborative support within mainstream classrooms.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education for high school or secondary grades.
• Experience in a high school setting, particularly in special education or resource support.
• Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with general education staff, parents, and administrators.
• Ability to develop and implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide push-in resource support to high school students with varying learning needs in inclusive classroom environments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt instructional materials and modify lessons.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collect data, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
