We're seeking passionate professionals for two self-contained classrooms: one elementary-level class providing mild interventions for grades K-2 (8-10 students), and one middle school group focusing on intense interventions (8 students). Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification and appropriate state licensure
• Previous experience working with mild and/or intense intervention student populations
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
• Creativity in adapting curriculum to individual student needs
• Effective communication skills with students, families, and staff
• Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for helping every child succeed

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Deliver engaging lessons that encourage academic and social growth
• Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general education teachers to coordinate student supports
• Foster meaningful relationships with families to ensure consistency in student progress
• Record, assess, and report on student achievements and areas for growth
