Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
• Demonstrated experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged children
• Strong skills in collaboration, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Commitment to providing compassionate, effective support to students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to preschool students (ages 3–5) in both AM and PM sessions
• Partner with the Child Find team to craft and implement IEPs for newly identified students
• Develop and maintain compliant, student-centered IEPs
• Participate in assessments, ongoing progress monitoring, and data collection
• Engage in IEP meetings, collaborative planning sessions, and regular staff meetings
• Set aside Wednesdays for professional learning and team planning (no direct student contact)
• Foster constructive relationships and regular communication with families and related service providers
