Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (K-12)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and accommodations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and patience when managing varied classroom settings

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver differentiated instruction in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to monitor and promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in special education
