Special Education Teacher in Sterling Heights, MI

As a Certified Special Education Teacher, you will design and implement individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of young learners. Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License with CI (Cognitively Impaired) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement
• Certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), or willingness to obtain and keep certification current
• Experience working with children in grades K–2 preferred
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instructional plans tailored to individual student goals
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom culture to enhance learning opportunities
• Work closely with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families
