Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Michigan
  • Previous experience working with high school students in a resource room or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
  • Passion for creating individualized learning plans and fostering student growth

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver individualized and small group instruction to high school students with varying learning needs
  • Develop, review, and implement IEPs in collaboration with other educators and support staff
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Engage with families and guardians to support student success
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusion and accommodations
