Take the next step in your special education teaching journey with this collaborative contract role for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position is based in Easton and focuses on supporting middle and high school students within an inclusive, co-teaching environment. You’ll partner with general education teachers and staff to provide both push-in and pull-out services, ensuring students with a range of disabilities—primarily Other Health Impairments, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairments—receive tailored instruction in the least restrictive setting.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Maryland Special Education License (required)
• Experience working in a school-based setting (preferred)
• Strong ability to collaborate within dynamic teams
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating, implementing, and tracking individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Delivering specialized academic instruction and targeted support
• Working closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth
• Monitoring student progress, maintaining documentation, and meeting compliance standards
• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
