This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week in a specialized Setting 3 learning environment. You'll support a caseload of approximately 6-10 students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), all within one building, allowing you to truly focus on student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure with active ASD or DCD endorsement required (Tier 3 or 4 only)
- Experience working in Setting 3 classrooms or with students with moderate to significant disabilities preferred
- Strong commitment to inclusive, individualized instruction and positive behavioral support
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration with families, paraprofessionals, and interdisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and behavioral interventions based on student IEPs
- Collaborate to design and implement goals that foster independence and academic growth
- Maintain thorough and accurate student records, tracking progress and communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Foster a supportive and structured learning environment for students with diverse needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching strategies and compliance
