This contract opportunity is located near Stillwater, MN, covering a long-term leave position within a dynamic, student-centered environment. This assignment begins approximately on August 31, 2026, and extends until December 21, 2026, with the potential for further extension should the need arise. The role is ideally full-time at 37.5 hours per week, but those seeking part-time, particularly morning schedules, are also encouraged to apply.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement (dual certification in view required)
- Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with early childhood or preschool-aged children
- Ability to provide dynamic, individualized instruction while collaborating with families and support staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must include a current resume and a PDF copy of your MN teaching license with application
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students aged 3-5 per IEP requirements
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to ensure educational progress and engagement
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including paraprofessionals and related services providers
- Communicate progress and collaborate closely with families and caregivers
- Maintain timely documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
