Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in EBD (Emotional/Behavioral Disorders), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), or ABS (Academic and Behavioral Strategist)
  • Experience supporting at-risk students in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong behavioral support and classroom management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with fellow educators and support staff
  • Flexibility and openness to Out of Field Licensure Placement if needed
  • Commitment to evidence-based instructional practices
  • Must submit MN teaching license and resume for consideration

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct instruction and behavioral support aligned with student goals
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Adapt curriculum to ensure student engagement and success
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress
  • Contribute to a positive, solution-focused staff culture
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings

This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, with a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch break. You will have the opportunity to shape individual lives, make a difference each day, and grow alongside passionate colleagues.
