Special Education Teacher - Stockton, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California credential for Special Education, authorizing service for mild–moderate disabilities
• Previous teaching experience in special education, preferably in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop and implement individualized instruction
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Commitment to empowering students with empathy and patience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized education services to students with mild–moderate disabilities one day a week
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt lessons to meet students’ unique learning styles and needs
• Track student progress and maintain appropriate documentation
• Consult with classroom teachers, aides, and families to implement consistent strategies
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that nurtures student growth
