Current priority is for a High School Special Education Teacher (Grades 9-12), working with a mild to moderate student population in an inclusion/resource setting. There’s also an opportunity for a Middle School Special Education Teacher (Grades 6-8), supporting a self-contained autism classroom. Both positions are essential to the school community, offering an encouraging atmosphere and ample professional growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher Certification
• Experience working with students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12
• Background supporting diverse learners in inclusion, resource, or self-contained settings
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively
• Commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies in response to student needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by the school and state regulations
• Communicate regularly with families to support student growth
