This contract opportunity seeks a Certified Special Education Teacher ready to work with grades 9–12, collaborating with a dedicated team to foster growth and success for a mild to moderate student population.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience or demonstrated success supporting students in grades 9 through 12
• Comfort working with mild to moderate special needs individuals
• Proficiency in inclusive and resource classroom models
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to individualized education and student advocacy

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals within inclusion/resource settings
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain organized records and provide timely feedback to families
• Cultivate a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Participate in ongoing professional development sessions

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:30 PM
