Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
• Prior experience teaching students with a range of learning differences at the middle school level is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in IEP development, implementation, and compliance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet IEP goals and address diverse student needs.
• Deliver effective instruction and assessment for students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to maximize student resources.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and family communications.
• Use data-driven decision-making to adapt teaching strategies for optimal student growth.
