This position will run for the entirety of the 2026-2027 school year, from August 17th through May 28th, and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Your Role:
- Provide specialized instruction and support for students in a resource setting, ensuring individualized education plans (IEPs) are effectively implemented.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies that enhance student learning and inclusion.
- Assess student abilities and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress, IEP goals, and regulatory compliance.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student growth, independence, and confidence.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- A current Special Education Teacher certification (Intervention Specialist credentials preferred).
- Experience working with K-8 students, ideally within a resource caseload.
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Adaptability and creativity in tailoring instruction for diverse learning profiles.
