This long-term substitute role focuses on early childhood special education, supporting a dedicated pre-K classroom of 10-15 students within a single school building. Key Qualifications:

• Valid certifications in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education (dual certification required)
• Experience with early childhood or preschool-aged students, especially in special education settings
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Adaptable, patient, and committed to inclusive teaching practices
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with other educators and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to meet students’ unique needs
• Develop, adapt, and implement lesson plans in accordance with IEP goals and early learning standards
• Assess student progress, document results, and communicate with families and the multidisciplinary team
• Foster a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment for all learners
• Attend required meetings, engage in team planning, and participate in professional development as needed
